What is Get Set. Go! Travel's commission split?Our agents take home the largest commission in the industry. Advisors take home the majority (80 %) of each commission, and Get Set. Go! and our corporate office keeps a small portion (20 %) as the host agency. Additionally, when you book through our exclusive app you keep 100% of your commission.

What happens after I join?Upon joining our team as an agent, you'll gain immediate access to our advisor portal, where you can begin training and booking client travel. As a valued member of our community, you'll also be invited to a new agent training call led by experienced advisors who will guide you through the available tools and resources.

How quickly can I start booking?You can start selling almost immediately! After you sign up and attend an onboarding call, we'll get you set up with our IATA number, so you can begin booking as soon as you're ready. There's no need to wait! However, to be realistic, most agents typically start booking within 2-4 weeks of receiving their certification, as they become more familiar with the systems and processes.

Are there minimum bookings or sales quotas?You're in charge! You set your own schedule and book when and how much suit you.

Do I need an LLC?As part of joining Get Set. Go!, you will be a 1099 independent contractor. You do not need to have an LLC to sign up. Should you want to, though, you can onboard with us as an LLC, rather than an individual contractor. However, we are then legally unable to provide you with E&O insurance.

How does an agent earn money?Hotels and other travel providers pay advisors a commission on anything they book, at no additional cost to the traveler. Travel advisors also sometimes charge a planning fee for customized itineraries or more complicated trips.

Who is behind Get Set. Go! Travel?We are a team of entrepreneurs and travel industry veterans, and people passionate about travel, backed by an amazing family owned company.

How does Get Set. Go! make money?Our revenue is derived primarily from commissions earned by booking hotels and other travel experiences. We take a fraction of the commission earned from each hotel booking made by our advisors. The majority of the commission goes to the advisor. We also have a smaller portion of revenue that comes from subscription fees from our advisors.

Is Get Set. Go! Travel a multi-level marketing (MLM) company?Nope! We never require agents to recruit other agents, and our agents’ earnings come from booking travel. Agents don’t profit off of anyone else’s bookings. Our agents are independent contractors and earn commissions on their own, without any contingencies, limits or minimums. And, agents can cancel their subscription and stop booking at any time. No questions asked.
